In no particular order:
Ring Dips
Rx wods with HSPUs
Pistols
MUs
330 DL
275 Back Squat
135 x 5 Bench
10 pull ups without stopping
RX a WOD
To be able to do a snatch, clean and clean and jerk properly
And to stop shaking my head back and forth when I don't complete a move properly...that ones for Jay! Lol
Happy new year everyone!
Pullups
400 dl
Muscle ups
Hanstand walk or free handstand
And I imagine I should learn how to Kip, double under, clean, & snatch...that should last me a while
First and foremost I am focusing on regaining a healthy back. I haven't been able lift more than about 75% since October. After that:
Rx most to all wods
Muscle ups
100 DUs in less than 2min
String together T2B
Improve all the Oly lifts so that I can start moving some weight
Happy New Year!
- to learn how to do a handstand, then move on to HSPU
- 100 unbroken double-unders
- Rx wods
- to compete in both the Spartan Race and the next Throwdown
As a matter of fact, I just decided on a whim to start a blog to monitor my progress. That's what watching the 2011 CF Games on ESPN2 does to me, I guess.
These are so long term - (the list just keeps getting longer):
HSPU
be able to hold a free handstand
more than 3 C2B in a row
more than 15 kipping pullups in a row
DU
string together T2B
get faster at box jumps and running
ring dips - a muscle up would be miraculous!
90kg clean (jerk would be amazing too! - but I'm not that picky)
70kg snatch
125kg back squat
140kg Deadlift
keep my back and knees healthy and continue eating clean (maybe a bit cleaner this year)
and to just keep having fun!
600lb Deadlift
500lb Squat
315lb Bench (with pause)
300lb overhead squat
250+lb Clean
<6 minute mile run
10 Muscleups in a row
Handstand walk at least 25 feet
Bodyweight Snatch for reps
"Heavy" Grace in under 5 minutes
Do "King Kong" with better time at Rx Weight
Front and back lever
Working more on technique versus beasting through movements.
Want to do a crossfit, powerlifting, strongman, 5k, and spartan race this year.
Too many things I can think of right now. Basically get better at everything and try to eliminate weakness. Need to work on bodyweight exercises.
Keep up with Everett. ;)
First and foremost gain some sort of flexibility and mobility
500# deadlift by april
450# squat
10 regular grip muscle ups
L pullups
300# Clean and Jerk
215# snatch
To stay as (or more) committed to my training and nutrition in 2012, as I was in 2011.
If I can do that, I'll be fitter faster and stronger next year.
- Body weight snatch
- Body weight sn for reps
- Massively improve front squat and henceforth clean.
- Double unders
- T2B
- eating clean more consistently
Top 5 in no particular order...
1. Significantly increase flexibility in general, but hamstrings and triceps in specific.
2. 80kg back squat (currently at 65)
3. Strung-together T2Bs
4. 15 unbroken kipping pull-ups (currently at 7)
5. 3 strict pull-ups
